Pushing a pencil around ‘virgin’ paper has been the passion of my life and wherever I find myself in a single spot for more than two minutes I have a pen and paper ready to draw who or what is in front of me. To date, I have drawings in drawers, behind desks, and have been known to stuff them under couches, behind the piano or kitchen stove which proves drawing can be a dangerous habit indeed.Sculpture is a three dimensional challenge. To me a mural is a medium for giving the community back its historical pride of “Remember When” and to evoke memories for families and neighbors to share with one another. This has proven true: as I have painted murals on private patios, public buildings, and merchants’ decks, those who come to shop, or stop by to visit, have shared hundreds of their own stories with me as I paint.See More

What can be more fun than to take something that exists in several forms and to create something entirely ‘new’ with it? Consequently, when I open my supply cupboards in the studio (or find something fascinating on the beach or mountainside), I wonder how I can ‘mix these up’ to elicit old and new experiences from those who view or purchase my work.See More
